4th Reflection

Write about the latest movie you have watched. Use as many conjunctions as possible.

The latest movie that I had  watched entitled The Love Guru. It was one of the movie that is fun and funny when I was watched it. Pitka an American raised outside of his country by gurus, returns to the States in order to break into the self-help business. His first challenge is to settle the romantic troubles and subsequent professional skid of a star hockey player whose wife left him for a rival athlete. Pitka was born in America, but raised in Havemahkeeta in India, with a population of 76, Maurice had always to better Deepak Chopra, and be sexually active, ever since he was 12. His Guru, Tugginmypudha, while approving of Deepak, cautions Maurice and has a chastity belt put around his waist. Years later, Maurice has established himself as Guru Pitka in America, but would like to appear in the Oprah Show and be better than Deepak Chopra. When Jane Bullard from the the Toronto Maple Leafs hires him to counsel their star hockey player, Darren Roanoke, to win back his wife, Prudence, from Kings' star player, Jacques Grande, and also stand up to his dominating mother, Lilian, he agrees to do so  with hilarious results. Lastly, Guru Pitka and Jane bullard was in a relationship because Guru Pitka was in love with Jane Bullard when the first time they met.

UFS201 1st Reflection

What is the meaning of the idiom "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words"?  Elaborate and give your opinion about the idiom in a paragraph not less than 200 words.

The elaboration of  “A picture is worth a thousand word” mean it refers to the note that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also apply characterizes one of the main goals of visualization, namely making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly. A picture tells a story just as well as a large amount of descriptive text. For me, a picture is worth a thousand word mean, when we see a picture, we can describe it as many words that come out from our mind without think the true meaning of that picture. Sometimes if people see a picture and they straighly think a bad situation about that picture while that picture did not show any bad situation. That is why we must  see carefully with some picture that we see. Is the  picture has a good or not? And for me also, a picture is worth a thousand word has they own meaning to make people say a lot of thing to the picture that they see and also think a thousand to make it in the word. That is all my opinion for this idiom.

7th Reflection

Read the story “The Christmas Doll”, write a reflection on the story and the messages intended in about 200 words.

The story is all about love between a family members. there was a little boy who wanted to buy a doll and white rose for his beloved late sister and his sick mother. He went to the store hoping that he could buy things for them. But unfortunately, he did not have enough money. The guy who was looking at him felt curious when the little boy pressed the toy against his chest and keep touching the hair of the doll and looked so sad. The guy tried to approach him and help him. From the story, it shows that love is exist between everyone no matter what happen. That little boy has successfully touched the guy's heart with his action. It is also touched my heart when i read this story. Among all, a relationsip between a family members is the most strong because blood is thicker than water. No matter what happen, the affection will never fade away. In this story also, the little boy had tried his best to make sure that he could buy the things to give to his sister and mother even though they were not exist anymore. His love for them is very hard to imagine. This boy have a honest heart. He missed his mother and sister so much. I hope that every child in this world will love their family so much as this boy did.

Ezra asked her to open the envelope. Then Ella countered to Ezra okay and thanks you. She opened the envelope and found two front row tickets to her favourite concert. Ella exclaimed and she said to Ezra that was a delightful surprise.
